On February 6th and 7th members of the Florida Securities Dealers Association Board of Governors, including Guerra & Partners attorneys George Guerra and Rob Jamieson, visited Tallahassee as part of an annual legislative meet and greet session.
On February 3-4, 2023, shareholder Ailen Cruz attended the Florida Bar YLD AOC Conference in Daytona Beach. Lawyers from all over the State of Florida attended and participated in grant presentations, meetings, CLEs and social activities.
We officially began celebrating Black History Month in the United States in 1986, when Congress passed Public Law 99-244 designating February 1986 as National Black History Month. On November 1, 2005, the UN General Assembly designated January 27 as International Holocaust Remembrance Day (“IHRD”). January 27 marks the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. IHRD serves two purposes: (1) to honor the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust and millions of other victims of Nazism, and (2) to develop educational programs to help prevent future genocides.
