We are selective in our hiring because our clients entrust us with their most important and sensitive matters and because we expect that the lawyers we hire will one day be our partners. If you have an interest in meeting us, you may send your resume to any of our members or to email@example.com.
We recognize and enjoy the benefits of a diverse workplace.
Our Practice Areas
Our lawyers have decades of experience handling a wide array of business disputes. We are frequently engaged to assist in the resolution of contract disputes, including commercial or consumer transactions, shareholder and partnership disputes, dissolutions of corporate entities, trade secrets, promissory notes, and enforcement or defense of restrictive covenants like non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.
Our firm advises and represents clients in a wide variety of adversarial matters. We represent broker-dealers and clearing firms and their associated persons in FINRA arbitrations and related court proceedings. Registered investment advisers engage us in arbitration matters in AAA, FINRA, and other arbitration forums, and in court. Our engagements include customer arbitrations and industry disputes on behalf of both firms and individuals. Our lawyers have appeared in hundreds of such proceedings and have tried more than one hundred to conclusion.
We defend broker-dealers, registered investment advisers, and their associated persons facing government action, including investigations and enforcement actions by government regulators and self-regulatory organizations. We understand the significant harm to business and reputation these events can inflict, including the potential for stiff monetary penalties, suspensions, or bars. Firms and individuals, including control persons, increasingly find themselves facing the threat of zealous government investigations involving the potential for civil or administrative proceedings, or referrals to law enforcement.
Our attorneys have served as court-appointed receivers or represented receivers appointed at the request of numerous regulators and enforcement agencies, including the Securities and Exchange Commission, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Federal Trade Commission, Florida Office of Financial Regulation, and Florida Attorney General’s Office.
