Jeffrey Rizzo has almost thirty years experience as a litigation paralegal, more than half of which has been with the Guerra King team. He provides support to the attorneys of the firm in litigation and trial readiness. Jeffrey uses his considerable multitasking skills and experience by providing detailed support from inception to the conclusion of matters. He maintains document productions and is integral in preparing for filings, case evaluations, mediations, hearings and trials.
Jeffrey joined the firm at its inception in November 2009, as part of the group that moved from one of Florida’s oldest and most prestigious law firms. Jeffrey’s work focuses on the federal and state court litigation of complex commercial disputes, arbitration, and regulatory proceedings. Jeffrey is also highly involved in administration of all aspects of the Firm’s representation of federal and state court appointed receivers.
Jeffrey earned his degree in criminal justice from Saint Joseph’s University in 1993. He received his paralegal certificate in 1994. Jeffrey is a past board member of the Tampa Bay Paralegal Association. He is a Florida Notary Public.
Jeffrey’s prior work experience includes admiralty and maritime, medical malpractice and general civil and criminal litigation in Florida, Texas, New York and Georgia. He served as an intern in the Victim Services Unit for the Office of District Attorney of the City of Philadelphia, PA during college.
