Juneteenth (i.e. June 19, 1865) honors the end of slavery in the United States. It commemorates the day when federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas in 1865 to ensure that all enslaved people were free from bondage.
June is Pride Month and June 28 is Pride Day. They recognize the dignity of our family, coworkers, and friends who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer.

This group is made up of individuals with backgrounds from Cambodia, China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Thailand, Vietnam, Hawaiian Islands, Midway Islands, Samoa, Guam, Fiji, and more.
