Guerra & Partners was a proud sponsor for the second year in a row of Stand up for Innocence,  a comedy show to benefit the Innocence Project of Florida.  The event, held on February 8^th at historic Friday Morning Musicale in Tampa, helped raise critical funding for the Innocence Project’s litigation efforts on behalf of the wrongfully convicted.  The annual event involved a reception and comedy show from three top national comedians.

In honor of his support, mentorship and advocacy on behalf of women, Guerra & Partners Shareholder, George Guerra, received the “Advocate of the Year” award from the Southeastern Women in Financial Services (“SWIFS”) organization.  The award was presented  to Mr. Guerra at SWIFS’ 4^th Annual Spring Symposium on May 14th at Raymond James’ headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL.
